It is called Wright 101. Teaser: It looks like Jeremiah Wright was just the tip of the iceberg. Not only did Barack Obama savor Wright's sermons, Obama gave legitimacy — and a whole lot of money — to education programs built around the same extremist anti-American ideology preached by Reverend Wright. And guess what? Bill Ayers is still palling around with the same bitterly anti-American Afrocentric ideologues that he and Obama were promoting a decade ago. All this is revealed by a bit of digging, combined with a careful study of documents from the Chicago Annenberg Challenge, the education foundation Obama and Ayers jointly led in the late 1990s. Zero Chance Of Hillary Clinton Running For President Again? Posted: 14 Oct 2008 12:19 PM CDT This will not be welcome news to Hillary Clinton supporters who are still feeling the brunt of the primary campaign season that cost her the Democratic nomination for presidency in favor of Barack Obama, despite the fact that Hillary had more popular vote totals when all voters were counted, but according to Clinton, the chances of her running for president again are "probably zero." In an interview aired Tuesday on "Fox & Friends" on the Fox News Channel, Clinton, D-N.Y., was asked the chances, on a scale of 1 to 10, that she would be the next majority leader in the Senate. "Oh, probably zero," she said. "I'm not seeking any other position than to be the best senator from New York that I can be." Many Clinton supporters stayed loyal to Hillary throughout the primaries and many refused to back Barack Obama after the hard fought primary where Obama played the race card and the media showed an incredible amount of sexism against Clinton, with some prominent Clinton supporters backing John McCain after Obama took the Democratic nomination. Many also believed Clinton would run again in 2012 if McCain won the 2008 election and in 2016 if Obama took the 2008 election, but her words in this interview seem to nix that idea out. As Clinton supporters watch the same race cards being played by the Obama campaign now, calling Sarah Palin a racist for daring bringing up the ties between unrepentant domestic terrorist William Ayers and Barack Obama and as they see the same sexist remarks and actions from the media and Obama supporters against Palin as they witnessed against Clinton, many believe the Democratic Party as a whole has betrayed them. Clinton supporters will be a force in the 2008 elections and this news is not exactly going to make them feel warm and fuzzy about Obama. .

ACORN And Obama: Fraud You Can Believe In!! Posted: 14 Oct 2008 10:18 AM CDT (Click image to enlarge for better reading) The ACORN voter fraud scandal has gotten so big and is being investigated in so many different states, not many know exactly what to do about it. Start with the ACORN-Barack Obama connection. First and foremost, ACORN is a liberal group and the problems stem from their "voter drives" where they go out and get people to register... the problem is, they are registering the same people, in one case, 73 times, dead people, pets and under-aged children (even a 7 year-old), they offer cash and cigarettes as payment to get people to keep registering multiple times and they have had members convicted in previous years for the same type of behavior. That is the tip of the iceberg. Wall Street Journal cuts to the chase: Which brings us to Mr. Obama, who got his start as a Chicago "community organizer" at Acorn's side. In 1992 he led voter registration efforts as the director of Project Vote, which included Acorn. This past November, he lauded Acorn's leaders for being "smack dab in the middle" of that effort. Mr. Obama also served as a lawyer for Acorn in 1995, in a case against Illinois to increase access to the polls. During his tenure on the board of Chicago's Woods Fund, that body funneled more than $200,000 to Acorn. More recently, the Obama campaign paid $832,000 to an Acorn affiliate. The campaign initially told the Federal Election Commission this money was for "staging, sound, lighting." It later admitted the cash was to get out the vote. The Obama campaign is now distancing itself from Acorn, claiming Mr. Obama never organized with it and has nothing to do with illegal voter registration. Yet it's disingenuous to channel cash into an operation with a history of fraud and then claim you're shocked to discover reports of fraud. As with Rev. Jeremiah Wright and William Ayers, Mr. Obama was happy to associate with Acorn when it suited his purposes. But now that he's on the brink of the Presidency, he wants to disavow his ties. I will also list all previous pieces about ACORN written here at the bottom of this post. In Indiana, ACORN aka Association of Community Organizations for Reform, election officials were going through 5,000 ACORN submissions and gave up after 2,100 of them were found to be fraudulent, via Instapundit, we have video of the news report. ACORN, whose political arm has endorsed Democratic nominee Barack Obama, has signed up more than 1.3 million voters for this cycle. Investors Business Daily also speaks of the ACORN/Obama relationship: Of course, Obama denies being a trainer for ACORN and its staff of community rabble-rousers now engaged in massive countrywide vote fraud to elect the man who helped lead their effort to force banks to issue loans to people who could not afford them. Obama's Web site proclaims, "Barack was never an ACORN trainer and never worked for ACORN in any other capacity." Then how is it that Chicago ACORN leader Toni Foulkes sang Obama's praises for his work for ACORN in his article, "Case Study: Chicago — The Barack Obama Campaign," which appeared in Social Policy magazine in 2004? Foulkes said ACORN first recognized Obama's talents as a community organizer when he was organizing on Chicago's far south side with the Developing Communities Project. Foulkes wrote: "When he returned from law school, we asked him to help us with a lawsuit to challenge the state of Illinois' refusal to abide by the National Voting Rights Act . . . . Obama took the case, known as ACORN vs. Edgar . . . and we won." Then Illinois Gov. Jim Edgar balked at implementing the new federal "Motor Voter" law out of concern that allowing people to register via postcard and blocking the state from pruning voter rolls might invite vote fraud. We wonder where he got that idea. Foulkes says that "Obama then went on to run a voter registration project with Project VOTE in 1992 that made it possible for Carol Mosely Braun to win the Senate that year. Project Vote delivered 50,000 newly registered voters in that campaign (ACORN delivered about 5,000 of them)." ACORN was so impressed with Obama's work with and for ACORN that, according to Foulkes, "Since then, we have invited Obama to our leadership training sessions to run the session on power every year, and, as a result, many of our newly developing leaders got to know him before he ever ran for office." Last November, Obama told the group, "I've been fighting alongside ACORN on issues you care about my entire career. Even before I was an elected official, when I ran (the) Project Vote voter registration drive in Illinois, ACORN was smack dab in the middle of it, and we appreciate your work." Obama: Goal is to “Spread the Wealth Around” Posted: 14 Oct 2008 10:16 AM CDT A plumber who asked Barack Obama about his tax plans was told by the Senator that his goal is to "spread the wealth around." Obama made the comments shortly after he unveiled a plan that would, he said, constitute a 'tax cut for 95% of Americans." The only problem with that plan is, however, that it does no such thing. Obama will raise taxes on higher income households, and he will give a tax credit to those with lower incomes. What this means is the following: 33% of Americans do no pay taxes. British Interpreter Accused of Spying for Iran Posted: 14 Oct 2008 10:16 AM CDT Corporal Daniel James, 45, worked for Britain's top commander in Afghanistan when he was recruited by Iran as a spy. According to prosecutors in the case against James which started this week the Corporal decided to spy for Iran after missing out on a promotion. James believed he missed the promotion and other 'suffering' due to racism, prosecutors believe. Interesting about James' spy story is that he was not contacted by the Iranians himself. Rather, he approached them. (British Corporal and Spy Daniel James) "The allegation in this case is that during the latter part of 2006, the defendant's loyalty to this country wavered and his loyalties turned to Iran, the country of his birth," prosecutor Mark Dennis said. "He turned his back on those with whom he was serving in Afghanistan and sought to become an agent for a foreign power and to provide information which would or might be of use to those who were actually engaged in active conflict with the peace-keeping force." Dennis told the court that James 'made telephone contact with Colonel Mohammad Hossein Heydari who worked as Iran's military attaché at its embassy in Kabul and sent him coded messages in emails.' "He had access to areas and information that no other soldier of corporal rank would have, due to his working alongside the general," Dennis said. James was in "a unique position to overhear and glean a good deal of operational or strategic information if he chose to do so," he said. "As General Richards himself puts it, the defendant's value as a hostile intelligence agent to a third party with aims contrary to that of the ISAF (International Security Assistance Force) and the government of Afghanistan cannot be underestimated." James was arrested in December 2006, a couple of months after he had first made contact with the Iranians and, according to prosecutors, luckily before he could give them any truly important information. Nonetheless, they found a USB stick with highly sensitive information in his personal belongings, which would probably have been given to Iran. The sensitive information included documents about troops movements and knowledge of insurgency activities. As far as this conservative Dutchman is concerned, James should be locked up for life if proven guilty. Such a punishment would be light considering that he would have been given the death penalty only a few decades ago (and quite rightfully so). The most horrendous crime one can commit is betraying one's country, it doesn't get much worse than that. The punishment should be in line with the seriousness of the crime: life imprisonment, no possibility for an early release. .

Here it goes: In a recent blogpost for The Daily Beast conservative pundit Tucker Carlson argued that John McCain's campaign should attack Barack Obama for his ties to Rev. Jeremiah Wright of Trinity Church Chicago. As is well known, Wright is a radical anti-American preacher, yet Obama attended his church for 20 years. Wright is the man who 'brought Obama to Christ.' The latter even went so far as to call Wright his 'spiritual mentor' in his autobiography. But he is a radical. Shortly after 9/11 Wright said: "We bombed Hiroshima, we bombed Nagasaki, and we nuked far more than the thousands in New York and the Pentagon, and we never batted an eye…America's chickens are coming home to roost." In another sermon the good reverend had the following to say: "God damn America for treating our citizens as less than human. God damn America for as long as she acts like she is God and she is supreme." He also is in the habit of refering to America as AmeriKKKa, which is undoubtedly not a terminology most Americans would feel comfortable about. There are enough videos out there which the McCain campaign could use to attack Obama over his ties to Wright - Hillary Clinton's campaign did so with magnificent results. She was trailing Obama in the polls before her campaign attacked Obama over Wright, but made a comeback once the attacks started. Through the charity that he managed with William Ayers, the Annenberg Challenge (the same Annenberg that owns Factcheck.org) the Junior Senator from Illinois funded the "South Shore African Village Collaborative." The group taught teachers in Africa: the United States is shaped by "capitalism, competitiveness, racism, sexism and oppression." According to Warfield-Coppock, these American values "have confused African American people and oriented them toward American definitions of achievement and success and away from traditional African values." American socialization has "proven to be dysfuntional and genocidal to the African American community," Warfield-Coppock tells us. Given the lack of coverage over Ayers, to say nothing of his connections to Obama, one might well wonder, what's the big deal? Why would anybody care whether Obama was friends with some ex-hippie who protested the Vietnam War, way back when Obama was just a kid? The answers is: Bill Ayers was more than a 'war protester,' and more than simply a '60's radical (let's face it, Obama couldn't set foot in a college faculty lounge without running into plenty of those). He was much, much worse than any of that. During the late 60's and early 70's, Ayers and his wife Bernadine Dohrn–who herself gets way too little notice in any current reporting–were far worse than simple anti-war protestors. They were very much on the other side, actively working for the defeat of America abroad in war and the murders of Americans at home. Among many other crimes, Dohrn traveled to Cuba in 1969, where she met with of the Vietnamese Provisional Revolutionary Government. In that meeting, Dohrn and other Weathermen agreed to "wage armed struggle" within the United States. In appreciation for their efforts, Huyhn gave Dorhn, and later Ayers, rings forged from the metal of downed American fighter planes. One wonders whether John McCain's A-4, downed in Hanoi in 1967, was the source of either ring. One also wonders whether Ayers and Dohrn were wearing those tokens of fraternal solidarity when they introduced Barack Obama to the political world from their home some 13 years ago. The excuse is often trotted out that Ayers and Dohrn weren't so bad, since the Weathermen were so incompetent at terrorism that they only managed to kill a few of their own ranks, in a 1970 explosion. That's errant nonsense. The bomb that destroyed a New York townhouse, and less sadly, the three Weathermen who were inside it, was intended to be set off at an Fort Dix NCO club dance. If you think Ayers and Dohrn and the other surviving Weathermen who were complicit in that planned bombing ought to be considered guiltless because the bombing was botched, you must also think Richard Reid should be set free because he too was an incompetent terrorist, one dumb enough to try and set off his shoe bomb with a match. Of course, Reid's incompetence, and that of Zacarias Moussaoui, are not a mitigating factors, nor should they be. Reid and Moussaoui actually got off easy. Both deserve execution; instead, they get to spend the rest of their lives looking at a blank wall in Supermax. If any member of the press corps had a single ounce of nerve, they'd ask Barack Obama why the same fate shouldn't have been visited on his pals from Hyde Park. I'm not holding my breath. When the press mentions Ayers at all, it's in romanticized terms. Too many members of our political and media elite still look on leftist terrorists as heroes, more to their abiding shame. The number years that have passed since Ayers' and Dohrn's Weatherman days are likewise irrelevant; there is no statute of limitations on terrorism or treason. Another of Obama's political patrons, William Daley, Jr. of Chicago, has the audacity (if you'll pardon the term) to shrug off Ayers and Dohrn, saying recently, "This is 2008, people make mistakes. You judge a person by his whole life." No, Mr. Mayor, you don't. Not when those "mistakes" are major crimes. To restate: Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn should be staring at blank walls in Supermax for the rest of their lives. They are not cute. They are not admirable. They are not innocents who were swept up in juvenile enthusiasms. They are traitors who consorted with America's enemies during wartime. They are terrorists who bombed the US Capitol, the New York City Police Headquarters, the Pentagon, and who tried to set off a bomb that would have killed and maimed dozens of American servicemen, their wives and sweethearts. I have no particular illusions as to whether Obama will ever seriously be asked (much less answer) questions about why he ever associated with these two criminals. His flip and misleading answers to date suggest that he considers the question radioactive (as well he should), but the press, in the tank for Obama's candidacy and still full of romanticism for Sixties "rebels" is fully intent on giving him a pass. Yesterday an AP writer even made the risible accusation that criticism of the lily-white Ayers and Dohrn is somehow "racist" (and while I'm not and probably never will be a McCain fan, this kind of crap is one of the very best reasons not to vote for Obama; four years of hearing "Racism!" uttered as a defense against the slightest criticism is not my idea of a healthy political environment). Obama's opponents in the primaries didn't dare mention (much less criticize) links to the Weathermen; they were too dependent upon the loony Left for funding and activism. So now it's left to McCain and Sarah Palin to ask the questions that others wouldn't. Obama's canned response that he does not agree with Ayers and Dohrn's actions as Weathermen is not the point; for whatever it's worth, I believe him (although I'm not sure I'd believe a similar denial if issued by Obama's mentor, Jeremiah "God Damn America" Wright). The point is rather why any sane American would accept being in the same zip code with these two criminals, much less launch a political career from their living room. Despite press and candidate protestations to the contrary, Stanley Kurtz of National Review has credibly reported that Obama and Ayers had a significant working relationship since at least 1995 (Kurtz, doing the work American reporters won't do, had to force a FOIA request to gain access to paperwork on the foundation Ayers apparently groomed Obama to join; the deliberate attempt to hide records from the Annenberg Foundation was naturally not mentioned in a NY Times Ayers/Obama puff piece today). Based on Kurtz's work, there's no question that Ayers was far more than "a guy in my neighborhood" to Obama. So, again, the question to Senator Obama: these people are not just terrorists and traitors, they're admitted terrorists and traitors, and they're even still boastful about what they did and why. So why on Earth did you ever so much as say hello to either of them, much less launch your career from their parlor? The Family Research Council's Ad About Obama And Abortion Posted: 13 Oct 2008 06:00 PM CDT Yesterday we reported on Sarah Palin smacking Barack Obama around on the issue of abortion and today we see, via The Politico, that The Family Research Council has produced an ad nailing Obama on the abortion issue. This is a 100,000 ad buy and will run in the states of Ohio, Pennsylvania, Colorado, Michigan and in the Washington DC TV market. A source at the Family Research Council tells me the following: "We are responding directly to the Matthew 25 campaign - running TV and Radio ads in the same markets targeted by Matthew 25." For those that do not know what Partial Birth Abortion is, here is a quick guide: (Guided by ultrasound, the abortionist grabs the baby's leg with forceps.) Replace McCain's Policies With Obama's and Obama Supporters Still Choose Obama Posted: 13 Oct 2008 03:41 PM CDT Major H/T to No Quarters here and I agree with Susan UnPC about finding it difficult to title this piece because it is so ridiculous. Howard Stern has never been one of my favorite people, personal reasons, but this bit is so unreal and almost unbelievable that it has to be heard. Why do Obama supporters support Obama? Anyone crazy enough to say "because of his policies", stop right there, say nothing and listen for yourself as Obama supporters are asked about his policies and which ones they are favoring Obama regarding.....thing is, the person asking the questions substituted McCain's policies and Obama supporters completely backed those policies...when they thought they were Obama's. WOW Staffers Also Wear Sarah Palin C*nt T-Shirts Posted: 13 Oct 2008 01:46 PM CDT Yesterday we asked why the media was reporting a McCain supporter calling Barack Obama an "Arab" and completely ignoring Obama supporters calling Sarah Palin a cunt, even wearing T-shirts with the phrase "Sarah Palin is a cunt" on them. This morning I see a quite a few links to yesterday's post, as well as some news outlets finally reporting it (ABC's Political Punch, LA Times' Top of the Ticket, The Politico and it was mentioned on Fox News at 9 a.m.) In following a couple of the links to the original piece written here at WUA, I find there are more wearing those T-Shirts, named and posing proudly.... members of WOW staff, to be exact. Hundreds Of Economists Oppose Barack Obama's Economic Plan-Letter and Signatures Posted: 13 Oct 2008 12:58 PM CDT Economists from all over have signed letters opposing Barack Obama's Economics plan and so-called tax cuts which equal country "welfare" where he has tried to create the illusion that 'redistribution" of wealth is really called "tax cuts", which we discussed earlier here at WUA. The full economists' statement on Barack Obama's economic proposals: Barack Obama argues that his proposals to raise tax rates and halt international trade agreements would benefit the American economy. They would do nothing of the sort. Economic analysis and historical experience show that they would do the opposite. They would reduce economic growth and decrease the number of jobs in America. Moreover, with the credit crunch, the housing slump, and high energy prices weakening the U.S. economy, his proposals run a high risk of throwing the economy into a deep recession. It was exactly such misguided tax hikes and protectionism, enacted when the U.S. economy was weak in the early 1930s, that greatly increased the severity of the Great Depression. We are very concerned with Barack Obama's opposition to trade agreements such as the pending one with Colombia, the new one with Central America, or the established one with Canada and Mexico. Exports from the United States to other countries create jobs for Americans. Imports make goods available to Americans at lower prices and are a particular benefit to families and individuals with low incomes. International trade is also a powerful source of strength in a weak economy. In the second quarter of this year, for example, increased international trade did far more to stimulate the U.S. economy than the federal government's "stimulus" package. Ironically, rather than supporting international trade, Barack Obama is now proposing yet another so-called stimulus package, which would do very little to grow the economy. And his proposal to finance the package with higher taxes on oil would raise oil prices directly and by reducing exploration and production. We are equally concerned with his proposals to increase tax rates on labor income and investment. His dividend and capital gains tax increases would reduce investment and cut into the savings of millions of Americans. His proposals to increase income and payroll tax rates would discourage the formation and expansion of small businesses and reduce employment and take-home pay, as would his mandates on firms to provide expensive health insurance. After hearing such economic criticism of his proposals, Barack Obama has apparently suggested to some people that he might postpone his tax increases, perhaps to 2010. But it is a mistake to think that postponing such tax increases would prevent their harmful effect on the economy today. The prospect of such tax rate increases in 2010 is already a drag on the economy. Businesses considering whether to hire workers today and expand their operations have time horizons longer than a year or two, so the prospect of higher taxes starting in 2009 or 2010 reduces hiring and investment in 2008. In sum, Barack Obama's economic proposals are wrong for the American economy. They defy both economic reason and economic experience. The list of signatures is at the bottom of the link above. Last but not least, you have the Statement on Senator McCain's Economic Plan from Economists: We enthusiastically support John McCain's economic plan. It is a comprehensive, pro-growth, reform agenda. The reform focuses on the real economic problems Americans face today and will face in the future. And it builds on the core economic principles that have made America great. His plan would control government spending by vetoing every bill with earmarks, implementing a constitutionally valid line-item veto, pausing non-military discretionary government spending programs for one year to stop their explosive growth and place accountability on federal government agencies. His plan would keep taxes from rising, because higher tax rates are exactly the wrong policy to restore economic growth, especially at this time. His plan would reduce tax rates by cutting the tax that corporations pay to 25 percent in line with other countries, by completely phasing out the alternative minimum tax, by increasing the exemption for dependents, by permitting the first-year expensing of new equipment and technology, and by making permanent a reformed tax credit for R&D. His plan would also create a new and much simpler tax system and give Americans a free choice of whether to pay taxes under that simple system or the current complex and burdensome income tax. His plan would open new markets for American goods and services and thereby create additional jobs for Americans by supporting good free trade agreements such as the one with Colombia and working with leaders around the world to avoid isolationism and protectionism. His plan would also reform education, retraining, and other assistance programs so they better help those displaced by trade and other changes in the economy. His plan addresses problems in the financial markets and housing markets by calling for increased transparency and accountability, by targeted assistance to deserving homeowners to refinance their mortgages, and by opposing so-called reform plans which would raise the costs of home-ownership in the future. The above actions, as well as plans to address entitlement programs--especially Social Security, Medicare and other government health care programs--and his regulatory reforms--especially in the area of health care--constitute a broad and powerful economic agenda. Because of John McCain's experience working with the American people in all walks of life, with members of Congress on both sides of the aisle, and with leaders around the world, we are optimistic that these plans will become a reality and will create jobs and restore confidence and strong economic growth. Choose well. There is much at stake. These are hard times. Our economy is in crisis. Financial markets are collapsing. Credit is drying up. Your savings are in danger. Your retirement is at risk. Jobs are disappearing. The cost of health care, your children's college, gasoline and groceries are rising all the time with no end in sight. While your most important asset -- your home -- is losing value every day. Americans are fighting in two wars. We face many enemies in this dangerous world, and they are waiting to see if our current troubles will permanently weaken us. The next President won't have time to get used to the office. He won't have the luxury of studying up on the issues before he acts. He will have to act immediately. And to do that, he will need experience, courage, judgment and a bold plan of action to take this country in a new direction. We cannot spend the next four years as we have spent much of the last eight: waiting for our luck to change. The hour is late; our troubles are getting worse; our enemies watch. If I'm elected President, I won't spend nearly a trillion dollars more of your money, on top of the $700 billion we just gave the Treasury Secretary, as Senator Obama proposes. Because he can't do that without raising your taxes or digging us further into debt. I'm going to make government live on a budget just like you do. I will freeze government spending on all but the most important programs like defense, veterans care, Social Security and health care until we scrub every single government program and get rid of the ones that aren't working for the American people. And I will veto every single pork barrel bill Congresses passes. If I'm elected President, I won't fine small businesses and families with children, as Senator Obama proposes, to force them into a new huge government run health care program, while I keep the cost of the fine a secret until I hit you with it. I will bring down the skyrocketing cost of health care with competition and choice to lower your premiums, and make it more available to more Americans. I'll make sure you can keep the same health plan if you change jobs or leave a job to stay home. I will provide every single American family with a $5000 refundable tax credit to help them purchase insurance. Workers who already have health care insurance from their employers will keep it and have more money to cover costs. Workers who don't have health insurance can use it to find a policy anywhere in this country to meet their basic needs. If I'm elected President, I won't raise taxes on small businesses, as Senator Obama proposes, and force them to cut jobs. I will keep small business taxes where they are, help them keep their costs low, and let them spend their earnings to create more jobs. If I'm elected President, I won't make it harder to sell our goods overseas and kill more jobs as Senator Obama proposes. I will open new markets to goods made in America and make sure our trade is free and fair. And I'll make sure we help workers who've lost a job that won't come back find a new one that won't go away. The last President to raise taxes and restrict trade in a bad economy as Senator Obama proposes was Herbert Hoover. That didn't turn out too well. They say those who don't learn the lessons of history are doomed to repeat them. Well, my friends, I know my history lessons, and I sure won't make the mistakes Senator Obama will. If I'm elected President, we're going to stop sending $700 billion to countries that don't like us very much. I won't argue to delay drilling for more oil and gas and building new nuclear power plants in America, as Senator Obama does. We will start new drilling now. We will invest in all energy alternatives -- nuclear, wind, solar, and tide. We will encourage the manufacture of hybrid, flex fuel and electric automobiles. We will invest in clean coal technology. We will lower the cost of energy within months, and we will create millions of new jobs. Let me give you the state of the race today. We have 22 days to go. We're 6 points down. The national media has written us off. Senator Obama is measuring the drapes, and planning with Speaker Pelosi and Senator Reid to raise taxes, increase spending, take away your right to vote by secret ballot in labor elections, and concede defeat in Iraq. But they forgot to let you decide. My friends, we've got them just where we want them. What America needs in this hour is a fighter; someone who puts all his cards on the table and trusts the judgment of the American people. I come from a long line of McCains who believed that to love America is to fight for her. I have fought for you most of my life. There are other ways to love this country, but I've never been the kind to do it from the sidelines. I know you're worried. America is a great country, but we are at a moment of national crisis that will determine our future. Will we continue to lead the world's economies or will we be overtaken? Will the world become safer or more dangerous? Will our military remain the strongest in the world? Will our children and grandchildren's future be brighter than ours? My answer to you is yes.
