Reactions To The Palin/Turkey Slaughter Video Posted: 22 Nov 2008 09:52 AM CST Obligatory Palin/Turkey slaughter post.... Reactions to the video below are hysterical, simply hysterical. (Video below) The video above is the uncensored version. No one really wants to "see" the slaughter of animals, but yet, unless you are a vegetarian, you truly have to know that folks kill the animals before you find it packaged in your grocery store. The above interview with Sarah Palin with a turkey being slaughtered in the background, is everywhere now and people are having themselves a real freakfest over it. ummmm..... did they really think that the meat they buy in their meat department OR the turkeys they serve their families over Thanksgiving, magically just appear in the stores? People that cannot handle seeing the reality behind how you get the meat on your table, should become vegetarians. The Daily Telegraph has a great roundup of reactions over this issue. A couple of my favorite Daily Telegraph updates are below:
A big hearty laugh at the update about Ann Althouse: UPDATE XI. Ann Althouse: "Deal with it, you candy-asses." Quite so.Best update of the them all though was this:
Yup...agreed!! Last but not least, the update referring to Mark Steyn: UPDATE XVII. Mark Steyn: "I didn't think I could like Sarah Palin more than I do, but the nancy boys at MSNBC bleating all over the screen about the Great Turkey Carnage is hilarious." Now I am wondering how many of the people soooooo upset about having to actually witness how their Thanksgiving dinner is slaughtered, are actually going to serve a meatless dinner next Thursday? Decided to have Ham instead? A quick trip to the pig slaughter YouTube page should cure you of that notion right quick. How about a nice piece of beef? Ooops, Cow slaughter isn't pleasant either folks!! Fact of life, animals die to put meat on our tables.... deal with it or quit eating meat and join PETA. . |
Posted: 22 Nov 2008 09:16 AM CST While the lyrics from the Beatles song may be true, it seems that for Eric McKinley, money can buy notoriety. Eric McKinley filed suit in 2005 against an online matchmaking service called eHarmony charging discrimination. This week eHarmony settled McKinley's lawsuit against them, and it cost more than money. $50,000 to the state for administrative costs and $5,000 to McKinley was what it cost eHarmony to settle a complaint that McKinley registered with the New Jersey civil rights division.... You KNOW I have more to say about this. Go over to NewsBlaze to read the rest: here. |

The Far Left Prepared To 'Go To War' With Obama Before He Takes Office Posted: 21 Nov 2008 12:50 PM CST To Obama supporters- Quit crying, you got what you asked for. Seems that a frontrunner, according to the rumor mill, "John Brennan remains the favorite to be nominated director of the Central Intelligence Agency" and the far left is not happy and are already threatening to "go to war" with Barack Obama, before he even takes office. Democratic and national security sources say that former National Counterrorism Center head John Brennan remains the favorite to be nominated director of the Central Intelligence Agency even as his pending appointment raises the hackles of some Obama advisers because of his ties to George Tenet and controversial programs. Andrew Sullivan talks a big game here on this issue, stating: It's fine not to uproot the entire agency and to have some continuity. But for Obama to appoint a Bush-Cheney apologist to the CIA? How on earth did this idea get this far? Wow, bet Barack Obama is shaking in his boots right about now, huh? Quick newsflash for Sullivan... ya'll already got Obama elected dude, too late now for your threats to do anything but make Obama laugh. In fact, an article I read yesterday, in the LA Times, makes it very clear that Obama knows that some of his choices will not be happy with his choices but that will not deter him. The activists -- key members of the coalition that propelled Obama to the White House -- fear he is drifting from the antiwar moorings of his once-longshot presidential candidacy. Obama has eased the rigid timetable he had set for withdrawing troops from Iraq, and he appears to be leaning toward the center in his candidates to fill key national security posts. Fact is, Obama told his supporters what they wanted to hear, they bought it all, hook, line and sinker, they elected him.... now, he will do as he pleases because the bottom line here is he doesn't need them anymore. The so-called "progressives" are starting to notice this and express their anger. And if Obama really wanted change, if he really wanted to honor progressives who backed him early on and then did the grunt work against McCain, he'd nominate Dennis Kucinich as Secretary of State. NewsBusters hunted around a little and found others, Obama supporters, not celebrating as happily now that the election is over.
Looks like some of the more extreme far left liberals are starting to feel they were sold a bill of goods. Too bad......so sad. . |
